Cleaning the Grill

Since I have a gas grill, the cleaning tips here are for cleaning a gas grill. Maybe someday I’ll write up some tips for cleaning a charcoal grill.

If you’re in the market for a new grill, it’s tempting to pay the extra money to have the seller put it together for you and deliver it. If you can, put it together yourself. By doing so, you’ll know exactly how to take it apart for cleaning and you’ll save a few bucks too!

You should clean your grill at least once a year, every spring before your first barbeque or in the autumn, just before you store it for the winter. If you barbeque a lot or year round, like I do, you’ll want to clean your grill more often.
